Gears of War are working on Windows 10 and 11 so i dont see a reason why it shouldnt work better on win 7 (yet, yet there are so many variables that influence this process that it's pointless to list them here) I see you did very different things that are unnecesary. I tried to use dependency walker software to detect the error or bad module that causes the game to not work, i see many windows\system 32\ DLL files got red 圆4 in CPU column also i noticed by their module name they got red square symbol with same symbol got sand watch mark and others got cyan squares and others got yellow circle with question mark in them, keep in mind that I used Dependency walker tool to help me fix same 0xc0007b problem in a software called Desmume and i managed to fix it by replacing 32 dlls with 64 ones My friend called me and said he needs the CD, I said ok and he told me to download a cracked EXE so i can open the game next time without needing for the CD to be in DVD to open, i gave him the CD case and now i got the game on my PC with no CD back up I reinstalled 2015-2019 redistributal 圆4 and x86 with vcredist 64 and 86, DirectX 9 and oalnist, restarted my PC and tried to boot the game through the EXE and still doesn't work, I tried to reinstall the game but it still doesn't work and gives me same error message I installed the game and opened it from its EXE launcher, the game at first gave me Xlive.dll error, i went to a website and got myself xlive dll file thing and pasted it in my binaries game folder, went again for the exe to open it and now it gives me 0xc0007b error message, i had this error in three other games before, Shadow Warrior remaster, Deadpool and Nazi Zombies Portable (fanmade remake in id tech 2) I got the game's retail disc from a friend in my job today, i told him i can't download big game's at home due to my internet problem, he agreed to give me his gears of war CD disc (100% legit), i returned home and installed this game on my PC, almost 10 gigabytes and i said wow, must be an epic game
